Neve Adrianne Campbell is a talented actress hailing from Canada, celebrated for her contributions to both drama and horror films. After appearing in several minor roles, she landed a leading part in the drama series Catwalk, which aired from 1992 to 1994. She also showcased her talent in the television film The Canterville Ghost in 1996, a performance that earned her a Family Film Award for Best Actress. Campbell soon moved to the United States, where she portrayed Julia Salinger in the Fox teen drama Party of Five from 1994 to 2000, marking her breakout role. This part garnered her significant acclaim and a nomination for a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actress. During her time on Party of Five, she made her debut in American cinema with the supernatural hit The Craft in 1996.

Her portrayal of Sidney Prescott in Wes Craven's slasher classic Scream, released in 1996, catapulted her to worldwide fame. The film was both a critical and commercial triumph, setting a record as the highest-grossing slasher for over two decades and developing a passionate cult following. Scream led to a successful franchise, with Campbell reprising her role in the series’ second, third, fourth, and fifth installments, spanning 25 years. Despite varying critical responses, Campbell has been consistently recognized for her contributions, establishing herself as one of the genre's most celebrated heroines. Her work in Scream has garnered her multiple awards, including two Blockbuster Entertainment Awards for Best Actress, a Fangoria Chainsaw Award, a Saturn Award, and an MTV Award for Best Female Performance, all credited to the early films in the series.

Beyond Scream, Campbell found success in various notable films such as the neo-noir thriller Wild Things (1998), as well as 54 (1998) and the crime films Drowning Mona and Panic, both released in 2000. She continued to shine in dramas like Last Call (2002), The Company (2003), and When Will I Be Loved (2004), alongside comedies such as Churchill: The Hollywood Years (2004) and Relative Strangers (2006). Her role in Last Call also earned her a Prism Award for Best Performer in a TV Film/Miniseries. After her stint in film, she returned to television with Olivia Maidstone in the NBC drama The Philanthropist (2009), followed by LeAnn Harvey in Netflix's House of Cards from 2016 to 2017 and Margaret McPherson in the Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer (2022 to present).
