About Pamela Hensley

Born on October 3, 1950, in Glendale, California, Pamela Hensley is an American artist known for her work on screen and in print. Her father, a veterinarian, raised her in a family that valued creativity. Hensley honed her craft at esteemed institutions, including the Argyle Academy and London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Her career predominantly unfolded within the realm of television, with a smaller number of feature film appearances. Hensley made her cinematic debut in the film There Was a Crooked Man.... The 1970s saw her become a contract player for Universal Television, contributing to a variety of their productions. She took on the role of Dr. Kiley's wife in the final season of Marcus Welby, M.D., and later portrayed an investigator on Kingston: Confidential for half a season.

Hensley's most recognizable roles include Princess Ardala in the television movie Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, which was initially released as a theatrical pilot before becoming a series. She reprised this character multiple times in the subsequent show. Her most extensive on-screen commitment was portraying C.J. Parsons in the detective drama Matt Houston, a role she held for the show's entire three-year broadcast. Following the conclusion of Matt Houston in the spring of 1985, Hensley stepped away from acting.

In 2004, she transitioned to authorship with the release of The Jewish-Sicilian Cookbook, published under her married name, Pamela Hensley Vincent. She has been married to prominent television executive producer E. Duke Vincent since 1982. Hensley has no children.
