Born Penelope Andrea Miller on January 13, 1964, Penelope Ann Miller, occasionally known by the shortened moniker Penelope Miller, is a celebrated figure in American acting. Her professional journey commenced on the theatrical stage, making her debut in the original 1985 staging of Biloxi Blues. Her talent was further recognized with a Tony Award nomination for her role in the 1989 revival of Our Town.
Miller made significant inroads into major Hollywood productions, particularly during the late eighties and early nineties. Her filmography from this prolific period includes notable appearances in Adventures in Babysitting (1987), Biloxi Blues (1988), Big Top Pee-wee (1988), The Freshman (1990), Awakenings (1990), Kindergarten Cop (1990), Other People's Money (1991), Year of the Comet (1992), and Carlito's Way (1993).
