Petek Dincoz — Biography

Born on May 29, 1980, in İzmir, Petek Dinçöz entered the world as the daughter of Esra Suay and Müjdat Fahri Ezgü. Her father's life was cut short during her childhood. She has a younger sibling, a brother by the name of Necdet. Dinçöz received her early education at Gazi Middle School and resided in İzmir until she reached the age of fourteen. She then opted to discontinue her schooling to embark on a path in modeling. In 1997, she took part in a beauty competition held in Cyprus, securing the runner-up position. Following her discovery by Atilla Kaplakarslan, she dedicated two years to honing her modeling skills before entering the 1999 Cyprus Beauty Pageant, where she was honored with the Press Beauty title. Dinçöz commenced her professional modeling career in 1998, and the following year saw her join the cast of the television series Sırılsıklam. In 2000, she was cast in the TV show Zehirli Çiçek, appearing alongside Tuğba Özay and Çağla Şıkel. Subsequently, she co-hosted a television program with Mehmet Ali Erbil. Dinçöz launched her singing career in 2002 with the release of her debut studio album, Aşkın Tam Sırası, which achieved sales of 49,000 copies. This album earned her the Best Debut by a Female Artist award at the 8th Kral TV Video Music Awards. In 2008, she married Can Tanrıyar, but the union ended in divorce two years later due to irreconcilable differences. On July 8, 2014, she wed Serkan Kodaloğlu, with whom she later had a son. The couple's divorce was finalized on March 15, 2022. On August 8, 2022, Dinçöz became engaged to business manager Nida Büyükbayrakdar. Their wedding took place on August 16, 2022, in Beşiktaş.
