Petra Němcová is a model from Moravia, a television personality, author, and dedicated philanthropist. She established the Happy Hearts Fund and currently serves as its chair. In December 2004, while in Thailand, she was severely injured during a tsunami triggered by the Indian Ocean earthquake; unfortunately, her fiancé, photographer Simon Atlee, lost his life in the disaster.
