About Peyton List

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Douglas and Sherri List, Peyton List spent her formative years in Baltimore, Maryland, alongside her sister, Brittany. Her early education took place at Cedarcroft pre-school and Calvert School before she moved on to Roland Park Country School in Baltimore. Her dedication to the arts extended to ballet, which she studied at the School of American Ballet in New York City.

List embarked on her professional journey at the age of nine, beginning a career as a model. Her initial notable commercial work involved portraying one of the "daughters next door" alongside her sister in Washington Square. In 2000, she made a brief appearance in the HBO series Sex and the City. The subsequent year saw her in a small role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, followed by a three-year engagement as Lucy Montgomery on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. After her departure from the soap in 2005, she went on to play Lucy Lane in an episode of Smallville, later reprising the character in the show's final season in 2010. That same year, she graced the screens of Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, and One Tree Hill with guest appearances.

In 2006, List became a regular cast member on the NBC drama Windfall, taking on the role of Tally Reida. The series concluded after a single season, and List then held a recurring part on the short-lived ABC drama Day Break. During the 2007 pilot season, she was cast in another ABC series, Big Shots, portraying Cameron Collinsworth, the daughter of Dylan McDermott's character. This show also ran for only one season. List's television guest credits also include appearances on Moonlight, Ghost Whisperer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Monk, Hawaii Five-0, and House of Lies. From 2008 to 2013, she was a recurring presence on the AMC series Mad Men, embodying Don Draper's temporary secretary who eventually became Roger Sterling's second wife. Between 2009 and 2010, List starred as Nicole Kirby in the ABC series FlashForward.

Her filmography includes roles in The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005), Shuttle (2008), and Meeting Evil (2011). In 2013, List secured the lead female role of Cara Coburn on The CW series The Tomorrow People, though the series was canceled after its first season. The following year, she had recurring roles on The CW's The Flash and ABC's brief primetime soap opera Blood & Oil. In 2016, she was cast as the protagonist in the CW science fiction police drama Frequency. In October 2017, she took on the role of Ivy Pepper, also known as Poison Ivy, in the
