About Rachel Hurd-Wood
Rachel Hurd-Wood embarked on her acting journey at a young age, first captivating audiences with her role as Wendy Darling in the 2003 adaptation of Peter Pan. This pivotal part launched her career, leading to subsequent notable performances. She later portrayed the character of Sibyl Vane in the visually striking 2004 film, The Picture of Dorian Gray. Hurd-Wood continued to build her filmography, taking on the role of Coral in the 2005 fantasy adventure, An American Haunting. Her talent was further showcased when she joined the cast of the popular Harry Potter franchise, appearing as Fleur Delacour in the 2005 installment, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She reprised this role in subsequent Harry Potter films, including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 in 2010. Beyond her work in major fantasy epics, Hurd-Wood has also explored other genres, appearing in the 2009 horror film, Solomon Kane, as the character of the same name.
