About Rachel Reynolds

Rachel Reynolds hails from Mandeville, Louisiana, a suburb situated on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain near New Orleans. After completing her education at Mandeville High School, she moved on to Louisiana State University, where she concentrated on Public Relations and was part of the nationally championed track and field team. Contrary to popular belief, she was not a cheerleader or a member of the LSU "Golden Girls," the renowned dance-drill team. To financially support herself during college, Rachel worked as a cashier at a supermarket. It was there that a talent agent from a local modeling agency noticed her, marking the beginning of her career in the entertainment field.

In 2002, Rachel participated in the competition to find a replacement for Brooke Burke, the former hostess of E!'s travel series, Wild On!. She successfully reached the finals, though the role ultimately went to model and actress Cindy Taylor, who hosted for the remainder of the series.

After this setback, Rachel auditioned to become one of the "Barker's Beauties" on the iconic game show, The Price is Right, during the final weeks of its 31st season. Her modeling debut occurred in an episode that aired on June 6, 2003, and she made a total of nine appearances that season. Rachel returned for the 32nd season premiere on September 22, 2003, and subsequently appeared consistently until November 12, 2003, making her mark alongside fellow newcomer Gabrielle Tuite. A memorable incident on April 30, 2004, saw Rachel inadvertently crash a Ford Mustang convertible into door 3 during the Lucky $even pricing game, eliciting laughter from the audience. She later explained via Instagram that she had mistakenly pressed the clutch instead of the brake. Interestingly, she revisited this gag—deliberately driving a car into the same door—during an April Fools’ episode in 2011.

By the end of Season 32, Rachel had distinguished herself as the model with the highest number of appearances at 96, outpacing her colleagues Shane Stirling and Lanisha Cole. She continued her tenure as a rotating "Barker's Beauty" in the following seasons. The show underwent a significant transition when Bob Barker, its longtime host since its debut in 1972, made his final appearance on June 15, 2007. Rachel was present during both his last week and the debut of his successor, Drew Carey, on October 15, 2007.

Rachel was the last new model to join The Price is Right while Rod Roddy served as the announcer. She modeled during Rod's farewell episodes, which aired shortly before his passing. Alongside her modeling work, Rachel also represented brands like VENUS Swimwear and has graced the covers of six national magazines, including Fitness RX. She was the final model to hand Bob Barker his microphone in his last episode and was featured during his visits to the show
