Rhona Mitra — Biography

Rhona Natasha Mitra is a British performer renowned for her diverse roles in film and television. She gained notable recognition for portraying Sonja in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) and Major Rachel Dalton in the second and third seasons of Strike Back (2012–2013). Mitra also made a mark as Rachel Scott in the first two seasons of The Last Ship (2014–2015), and Holly Marie Begins during the sixth season of Party of Five (1999–2000). Other significant roles include Kate Hedges in Ali G Indahouse (2002) and Tara Wilson on the final season of The Practice (2003–2004), as well as in the first two seasons of Boston Legal (2004–2005). She appeared as Detective Kit McGraw in the third season of Nip/Tuck (2005) and played the lead role of Major Eden Sinclair in the science fiction/action movie Doomsday (2008). In the Netflix film Game Over, Man! (2018), she took on the role of an assassin, and later portrayed Mercy Graves in the CW series Supergirl (2018). Mitra has Bengali and Irish heritage. As of June 2024, she has gained 222,000 followers on Instagram.
