Rin Kurusu hails from Tokyo and has established herself across multiple entertainment spheres. She is a singer, television personality, and voice artist represented by the Tokyo Actor's Cooperative Society. Kurusu was previously a part of the idol group 26-ji no Masquerade, which was active from 2017 until its disbandment in 2022. She also participates in the Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club, a multimedia endeavor. Following the conclusion of 26-ji no Masquerade, Kurusu embarked on a solo musical path. Her solo work includes providing theme songs for anime such as KamiKatsu, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History. In addition to her singing, Kurusu lends her voice to characters, notably portraying Hime Anyōji in the Love Live! franchise, appearing in both the video game and animated film.
