Roberta Lane — Biography
Roberta Lane, affectionately known as "Bobbie," entered the world on March 14, 1943, in Queens, New York. She established herself as an American model. Her striking image graced Playboy magazine as the Playmate of the Month in April 1962, with her iconic centerfold captured by the lens of Frank Eck. In 1961, Roberta wed Nadim Sawalha, a Jordanian-British actor. Together, they became parents to three daughters: Nadia, Julia, and Dina Sawalha, all of whom would go on to pursue careers in acting. Roberta herself made appearances in two films from the James Bond franchise: The Spy Who Loved Me, released in 1977, and The Living Daylights, which premiered in 1987.
