Rosa Acosta embarked on her modeling journey in 2004, relocating to the United States in 2006. She enhanced her figure with breast implants. Rosa began her classical ballet training at just four years old at the Centro de la Cultura in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She continued her education at the Instituto de Cultura y Arte (ICA), where she stood out as one of the academy's most talented students. After graduating with honors from both the ICA and the Ballet School of Norma Garcia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Classical Ballet, she joined the Dominican National Ballet in 2002 as its youngest soloist. She participated in major classical and contemporary performances throughout the Dominican Republic and was nominated twice by the Secretaria de Estado de la Juventud for her contributions to cultural development.

Rosa's modeling career took off in 2004, leading her to feature in magazines and television for prominent Dominican brands. Upon moving to the U.S. in 2006, she experienced a significant shift in her career, making a name for herself in various modeling spheres, including magazine spreads, radio, television shows, commercials, and several music videos. Some of her most notable appearances are in The DEY's "I Need You," Juelz Santana's "Back to the Crib," Drake's "Best I Ever Had," Mario's "Break Up," Chris Brown's "I Can Transform Ya," Mike Posner's "Drug Dealer Girl," Booba's "Caesar Palace," and Harvey Stripes's "Must Be Money," where her presence was notably striking. She has also graced the covers of several magazines, including King, Blackmen, JM, and Smooth. As of June 2025, Rosa boasts a following of 1.5 million on Instagram.
