Ruby Rose is an Australian model, actress, disc jockey, and television host. She began her career as a presenter on MTV Australia from 2007 to 2011, after which she secured several prominent modeling opportunities, such as being a face for Maybelline New York in Australia. Rose has also been a co-host on various television shows, including Australia’s Next Top Model in 2009 and The Project on Network Ten from 2009 to 2011. In 2008, she shifted her focus to acting, appearing in a minor role in the drama film Around the Block in 2013. Her performance in the third season of the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black garnered her significant recognition between 2015 and 2016. She went on to appear in action films including Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in 2016, XXX: Return of Xander Cage in 2017, and John Wick: Chapter 2 also in 2017. Additionally, she featured in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect 3 in 2017 and the monster movie The Meg in 2018. Rose took on the lead role of Kate Kane/Batwoman in the first season of the CW series Batwoman from 2019 to 2020. By December 2024, she had attracted a substantial following of 20.4 million on her Instagram account.
