Sakshi Malik is recognized in India as an actress, a prominent fitness enthusiast online, and a model. Her rise to fame included a notable performance in the film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and the widely recognized song from it, "Bom Diggy Diggy." Following her academic pursuits, Malik relocated to Mumbai, where she embarked on a career in modeling for advertisements for brands such as Nykaa and PC Jeweller. Her foray into Bollywood occurred in 2018 with her appearance in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The accompanying song, "Bom Diggy Diggy," achieved significant online popularity across India. A distressing incident involved her likeness being utilized to portray a commercial sex worker in the 2020 Telugu film V, a situation that prompted her to seek legal recourse through the Bombay High Court. In March 2021, the High Court ruled in her favor, directing Amazon Prime to remove the movie due to the unauthorized and unlawful use of her image. The film was subsequently taken down from the platform. The producers and the actress resolved their legal dispute approximately one month later.
