Scarlett Estevez — Biography

Scarlett Estevez embarked on her acting journey with a role as Ashley in the 2013 short film The Magic Bracelet, a project of the Make a Film Foundation. Her early filmography also includes an appearance in the 2013 movie And Then There Was You and the 2015 Nickelodeon production The Massively Mixed-Up Middle School Mystery. A significant role arrived in 2015 when she portrayed Megan in Daddy's Home, a character she revisited for the 2017 follow-up, Daddy's Home 2. Her comedic timing in Daddy's Home was recognized by the Hartford Courant, which praised her and co-star Owen Vaccaro for delivering genuine comic performances. The Austin Chronicle, reviewing Daddy's Home 2, highlighted Estevez's contributions, noting that she managed to deliver genuinely funny lines despite her character's limited role in the larger narrative. In March 2015, Estevez secured the part of Trixie Espinoza in the Fox series Lucifer, continuing her role when the show transitioned to Netflix. She further expanded her television work in 2019, joining the Disney Channel comedy series Bunk'd in its fourth season as Gwen, a character described as having lived "off the grid." While Lucifer was renewed for a sixth and final season on Netflix in June 2020, Estevez's involvement became less extensive due to her casting in January 2021 as the lead, Violet Rodriguez / Ultra Violet, in the Disney Channel series Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion, which premiered on June 3, 2022. More recently, in February 2024, Estevez lent her voice to the character "Kara" in the Nicktoons series The Loud House. She is the niece of actress Liza Weil, her mother being Samantha.
