Selena Gomez embarked on her acting journey with the children’s show Barney & Friends from 2002 to 2004. As a teenager, she gained popularity for her role as Alex Russo on the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, which aired from 2007 to 2012. In addition to her television work, Gomez featured in several films including Another Cinderella Story (2008), Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2009), Ramona and Beezus (2010), Monte Carlo (2011), Spring Breakers (2012), Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), and The Dead Don’t Die (2019). She also lent her voice to the character Mavis in the Hotel Transylvania series from 2012 to 2022.
