Sina Doering — Biography

Born in Germany in 1999, Sina Doering emerged from a household steeped in music. Her early years were filled with a diverse array of instruments, a natural consequence of her upbringing. Her father, Mike Wilbury, a seasoned professional in live and studio music, identified Sina’s innate sense of rhythm and groove. This led him to enroll her in weekly drumming lessons when she was just ten years old. By the age of fourteen, her father supported her in producing and recording her inaugural YouTube video.

Her online performances rapidly garnered international acclaim, paving the way for her debut album, Chi Might. This was subsequently followed by the releases of Chi Might II and Chi Might III. From its inception, Sina's musical endeavors were defined by collaborative efforts, exemplified by the Chi Might project which showcased over forty distinct artists. Currently, Sina holds the distinction of being the most viewed female drummer on YouTube.

In 2018, Sina earned her diploma from the Drummers Institute in Krefeld, Germany. She furthered her education from 2020, pursuing Jazz & Pop Drums at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Arnhem, The Netherlands, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2024. In 2022, Sina relocated her recording studio from her father's basement in Germany to a houseboat in The Netherlands. The summer of 2024 saw her move to London, UK. As of November 2025, Sina's social media presence includes 137,000 followers on Instagram, 114,000 on TikTok, and a substantial 1.87 million subscribers on YouTube.
