Sophie Howard — Biography
Sophie Howard, a native of Southport in the United Kingdom, established herself as a prominent figure in glamour photography, accumulating 32 magazine covers, 30 photo spreads, and 2 video appearances before stepping away from the industry in 2013. She completed her secondary education at a Catholic institution and was active in the Salvation Army organization until age 16, after which she pursued work as a stripper at 17. Her educational path included attending Edge Hill University, where she initially studied English Language and Creative Writing before transitioning to Marketing Information Systems. During her university years, she secured representation with the IMM modelling agency and began appearing in Loaded magazine's "Almost Famous" and "Sauna Babes" sections. Her breakthrough moment came when Loaded invited her to participate in their renowned Sauna Girls feature following her submission of self-taken photographs in a PVC catsuit. Her rising popularity culminated in her securing the magazine's cover by December 2005. Her career momentum accelerated significantly through her professional collaboration with Jeany Savage, a notable glamour photographer working for the Daily Star, an association that lasted approximately one year. This led to a Loaded contract featuring her own advice column and regular segment titled "Sophie's Choice," subsequently followed by an agreement with Nuts magazine. In 2009, Howard returned to Edge Hill University to pursue nursing studies in mental health. She temporarily halted her modelling career in December 2011 to concentrate on academics. After a brief retirement from topless modelling in 2012, she returned in March 2013 for a final photoshoot with PinupFiles before retiring indefinitely. During her sixth form years, Howard received a Lupus erythematosus diagnosis, an autoimmune condition.
