Susan Ward — Biography
Susan Ward, originally named Michelle Susan Ward, was born on April 15, 1976, in Monroe, Louisiana. She is recognized as both an actress and a model. Ward is married to David C. Robinson, who serves as the vice president of Morgan Creek Productions, the studio behind The In Crowd. Their paths crossed when he cast her in that film in 1999, and they tied the knot on June 4, 2005. A devoted Christian, Ward started her modeling career at the age of 13, which led her to leave school and relocate to New York City. A few years later, she decided to venture into acting.
After several minor roles in television, including appearances on All My Children and the short-lived NBC series Malibu Shores, she achieved her breakthrough playing the lead character, Meg Cummings, on the daytime soap opera Sunset Beach, produced by Aaron Spelling. In 1999, she began shifting her focus to film, earning attention for her portrayal of the unstable Brittany Foster in the erotic thriller The In Crowd. Although the film did not perform well at the box office, it gained a following on cable networks and home video. In 2000, she secured a supporting role in the popular film Shallow Hal. Additionally, Ward has featured in three direct-to-video movies and made-for-cable productions, and has guest-starred in four television series, with her most notable appearance being on Friends. Some have drawn a resemblance between her and Mila Kunis.
