Standing at an impressive 5'7" with striking blonde features, Sybil Danning has established herself as one of the most alluring, vibrant, and commanding figures in the realm of cult B-movies, earning the title of B-movie queen. She was born in Austria to a US Army major father and an Austrian mother, and spent her formative years on military bases across New Jersey, Maryland, and Sacramento, California. Sybil began her career as a model before making her film debut as the enchanting yet tragic figure, Lorelei, from German folklore—known for her despair over a deceitful lover that led her to plunge into the Rhine River, subsequently becoming a siren who ensnares fishermen in their doom.

In her role as Kriemhild, a princess from the Nibelungen saga, she embodies a fierce vengeful spirit, exacting revenge on her brutal Burgundian brothers for the death of her beloved Siegfried. After dedicating three years to studying under renowned German drama coach Anne-Marie Hanschke, she appeared in a variety of mainstream films from both Europe and America. When an opportunity arose to star in a prestigious play by Francis Durbridge across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, Sybil opted for the allure of Hollywood instead.

Her role in the Oscar-nominated Best Foreign Film, OPERATION THUNDER BOLT (also known as MIVTSA JONATAN) alongside Klaus Kinski marked a significant milestone in her career. It was her portrayal of the spirited Valkyrie warrior “St. Exmin” in the science-fiction classic BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS that captured the attention of audiences young and old, winning her numerous accolades. A studio even commissioned an action figure based on St. Exmin, set to be released in April 2021.
