Tammy MacIntosh has carved out a notable career as an Australian performer, with her portrayal of Kaz Proctor in the acclaimed prison drama Wentworth being a significant highlight. She was a fixture on the series from its third season through to its seventh, appearing between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, audiences became familiar with her as Constable Kathy Orland in the police drama Police Rescue, a role she held for several seasons from the second installment through the fifth, from 1992 to 1995. Another prominent part in her filmography is Dr. Charlotte Beaumont in the long-running medical series All Saints. She joined this program in its fifth season and remained with it until its conclusion in the twelfth season, a tenure spanning from 2002 to 2009. Throughout her work, MacIntosh has on occasion appeared on screen without clothing, a choice she made in the 1991 television soap opera Chances, later in All Saints during its eighth and ninth seasons in 2005 and 2006, and again in Wentworth in its fourth season in 2016.
