Tereza Fajksova — Biography
Tereza Fajksová, born May 17, 1989, in Ivančice, is a Czech model who achieved significant recognition by winning both Miss Czech Earth in 2012 and the international Miss Earth title in the same year. Her journey in pageantry began with a third-place finish in the Czech Miss competition. This accomplishment led her to represent the Czech Republic on the global stage at the Miss Earth 2012 International Beauty Pageant, held on November 24, 2012, at the Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines. There, she made history by becoming the first Czech woman to be crowned Miss Earth.
Fajksová hails from the small Czech town of Ivančice. She possesses natural blonde hair and blue eyes. Her early education included attending TG Masaryk elementary school in Ivančice and then the Ludvík Daněk Sports Gymnasium in Brno, where she has resided since her high school years. Academically, Fajksová holds a degree in Public Administration from Mendel University in Brno.
Before embarking on her modeling career, Fajksová was an accomplished volleyball player. She captained the Brno Kralovopolska Extraliga Volleyball Team, leading them to three junior national championships in the Czech Republic. A career-ending injury in volleyball ultimately redirected her path toward the world of fashion and modeling.
Fajksová's involvement in pageantry started early. She was a finalist in the 2009 Miss Czech Republic contest. Her international pageant experience prior to Miss Earth included a second runner-up placement at Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International in 2010 and a Top 24 finish at Miss Bikini International in 2011.
