Valkyrae — Biography
Rachell Marie Hofstetter, professionally known as Valkyrae, is an American content creator and live streamer. She holds a co-ownership stake in the esports organization 100 Thieves and has maintained her position as YouTube's leading female streamer from 2020 onward. Hofstetter launched her streaming career on Twitch in 2015, but achieved widespread recognition during 2018 when she competed in Fortnite, subsequently becoming the organization's inaugural female talent recruit. During 2020, she made a major career transition by securing an exclusive streaming agreement with YouTube. That same year, her audience expanded dramatically following her performances in Among Us, a social deduction game that propelled her to international prominence. This surge in popularity earned her the Game Award for Content Creator of the Year and a Streamy Award recognizing her as the best live streamer. Adweek subsequently honored her with the Gaming Creator of the Year designation in 2021, and Forbes featured her on their 30 Under 30 roster in 2022. Hofstetter has heritage from both the Philippines and Germany. As of November 2025, her social media presence includes 3.3 million Instagram followers, 2.4 million on TikTok, 4.06 million YouTube subscribers, and 1.6 million Twitch followers.
