Susannah Marie Muno, known to the world as Zana Muno, entered this life on May 13, 1996, in Torrance, California. Her parents, Kimberly and Lawrence Muno, welcomed her into a family steeped in athletic pursuits. Zana is the younger sibling to an older brother, JJ, who himself is a redshirt sophomore carving out a place on the UC Santa Barbara baseball team. The athletic legacy extends further, with her mother having a background in golf and her father having played college American football. Adding to the sports connections, a cousin named Danny is part of the New York Mets organization.

UCLA held a special place in Zana's heart from her earliest years, a lifelong aspiration that ultimately guided her to the campus. The dynamic, fast-paced environment of team volleyball stands out as one of her most cherished aspects of the sport. When it comes to leisure, her preferences lean towards the reality dating show "The Bachelor," the Los Angeles Dodgers for baseball, and the musical stylings of Jack Johnson and Luke Bryan. On the silver screen, the film "Remember the Titans" resonates with her. Her most profound athletic exhilaration came from an international stage, representing the United States at the 2014 Youth Olympics in China. Beyond the competitive arena, Zana finds enjoyment in paddleboarding, a favorite pastime. Academically, she pursued a degree in psychology, with a future ambition to work in sports psychology.
