Agnes Bruckner — Biography

Born in Hollywood, California, on August 16, 1985, Agnes Bruckner is an American performer who launched her career in television during the late 1990s. Her filmography includes appearances in notable projects such as The Woods, Blue Car, Murder By Numbers, Blood and Chocolate, and The Anna Nicole Story. Bruckner's heritage is a blend of Hungarian and Russian, with her father hailing from Hungary and her mother from Russia; her grandfather on her father's side was of German descent. Her parents, who met in Hungary, arrived in the United States in 1984, having spent time in a refugee camp in Italy. She is one of four siblings, having two sisters and a brother. While she possesses a conversational grasp of Russian, Bruckner is fluent in Hungarian, a language she spoke from her formative years. Her early artistic inclinations leaned towards dance; she engaged in ballet and tap from the age of five, initially envisioning a future as a dancer. By age eight, influenced by her mother, Bruckner also explored opportunities as a child model and participated in a beauty pageant. Her childhood included a period in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles until she was five, followed by residence in Portland, Oregon, until she reached ten years of age. The family then relocated back to Los Angeles, settling in Burbank, to support Bruckner's burgeoning acting aspirations. In March of 2016, Bruckner welcomed her first child, a son. Her second child, a daughter, was born in April of 2019. The father of both of her children is Alefaio Brewer, her former partner. Bruckner's musical tastes gravitate towards hip-hop and R&B, and she also counts The Killers and The Fray among her favored artists. She has expressed a preference for stepping away from the typical "Hollywood part of Hollywood," opting to spend her downtime traveling or at home with her family.
