Alexa Bliss — Biography
Alexis Joann-Louise Cabrera, born Kaufman, is an American professional wrestler, glamour model, social media personality, former cheerleader, and former television personality currently contracted with WWE performing on the Raw roster as Alexa Bliss. Beginning athletic pursuits at age five, Cabrera competed in track and field, softball, and gymnastics throughout her youth. She served as a cheerleader at Hilliard Davidson High School before achieving Division I status as a cheerleader at the University of Akron, where she obtained a master's degree in medical dietetics. Additionally, she participated in competitive fitness competitions and performed at the Arnold Classic. Cabrera's television wrestling debut occurred on the July 24, 2013 NXT broadcast, where she congratulated Paige on winning the inaugural NXT Women's Championship. Following her August addition to WWE's developmental roster, she received her ring name. The 2016 WWE draft assigned Cabrera to SmackDown, marking her main roster debut on July 26 of that year. At TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs on December 4, Cabrera captured the SmackDown Women's Championship by defeating Becky Lynch in a tables match. The April 2017 Superstar Shake-up transferred her to Raw, where she challenged Women's Champion Bayley. Defeating Bayley at Payback on April 30, she became the first female competitor to hold both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships. Cabrera joined the seventh season of reality series Total Divas in July 2017. Beginning January 2019, she hosted the interview program A Moment of Bliss and hosted WrestleMania 35 the following April. Cabrera took maternity leave starting January 2023 and returned at the February 2025 Royal Rumble. Of German heritage, she was previously engaged to wrestler Buddy Murphy. She began dating musician Ryan Cabrera in February 2020 and married him April 9, 2022. By December 2025, her Instagram following reached 6.2 million.
