Alexandra Tyler was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Over the course of her career, she appeared on 12 magazine covers and completed 12 photoshoots before stepping away from the industry in 2020. She is the oldest of five children, with four younger siblings consisting of three sisters and one brother. In April 2015, she achieved recognition as Playboy's Playmate of the Month. Her Playmate of the Month designations extended across multiple international editions of the publication, including Playboy Hungary in May 2015, Playboy Romania in June 2015, Playboy Russia also in June 2015, Playboy USA in April 2015, and the Latino Issue of Playboy USA in October and November 2015.
