Alicia Vikander — Biography

Alicia Amanda Vikander, born on October 3, 1988, is a prominent actress from Sweden. She has garnered numerous awards throughout her career, including an Academy Award, as well as nominations for two Golden Globes and three British Academy Film Awards. Vikander was born and raised in Gothenburg, where she began her acting journey as a child in small theater productions at the Gothenburg opera house. She also trained as a ballet dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm. Her early acting career included appearances in Swedish short films and television series, with her first notable role in the drama series Andra Avenyn, which aired from 2008 to 2010.

Her feature film debut came in 2010 with the film Pure, earning her the Guldbagge Award for Best Actress.
