Alina Zagitova — Biography
Born on May 18, 2002, Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova stands as a prominent figure in Russian figure skating. Her impressive list of accolades includes the coveted 2018 Olympic gold medal, the 2019 World Championship title, and the 2018 European Championship crown. She also triumphed at the 2017–18 Grand Prix Final and secured the 2018 Russian national championship. During the 2018 Winter Olympics, Zagitova contributed to the Olympic Athletes from Russia team's silver medal in the team event.
Remarkably, Zagitova holds the distinction of being the sole Russian female figure skater to achieve Olympic gold, a World Championship, a European Championship, and a Grand Prix Final title.
