Ami Cusack — Biography

In her initial foray into the strategic game of Survivor, Ami Cusack emerged as a prominent figure, steering a dominant alliance composed primarily of women. Notwithstanding her seemingly secure position within the game's hierarchy, she ultimately became the thirteenth individual to be eliminated. This marked her as the fourth juror, a consequence of her own coalition ultimately turning against her. Notably, even after experiencing a betrayal from fellow finalist Twila Tanner, Cusack cast her vote for Tanner to claim the million-dollar grand prize and the coveted title of Sole Survivor. However, the ultimate victor in that season was Chris Daugherty.

Cusack later made a return to the Survivor arena for its sixteenth installment, a season subtitled Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites, which commenced its broadcast on February 7, 2008. She was among a select group of ten returning fan-favorite contestants, assigned to the Malakal tribe. Before the season's commencement, host Jeff Probst offered an observation about Cusack's gameplay, suggesting that "Ami will betray you; she'll do whatever it takes to get deeper in the game." In this second appearance, Cusack was the eighth contestant to be voted out of the competition.
