Ami Maeshima — Biography

Hailing from Saitama Prefecture, Ami Maeshima is a Japanese talent who has made a name for herself as both a voice actress and a singer. She is particularly recognized for her contributions to popular multimedia worlds such as BanG Dream! and D4DJ, and for her past role as the leader of the idol group SUPER☆GiRLS.

Maeshima's journey in the entertainment industry commenced in 2010 when she became a founding member of SUPER☆GiRLS, having successfully navigated the Avex Idol Audition. She rose to become the group's leader before departing in March 2017, shifting her professional focus towards acting and voice performance.

In the realm of voice acting, Maeshima is widely celebrated for bringing Aya Maruyama, the lead singer of Pastel*Palettes, to life within the BanG Dream! universe. Her vocal talents were also featured in the D4DJ project, where she voiced Ibuki Niijima until 2022.

Her expansion into a solo music career saw its launch in November 2024 with the release of her album Determination under the King Records label. Prior to this, her debut single, "Wish for you," was chosen as the opening theme song for the anime series Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter in 2025.
