Anna Gasser — Biography

Born on August 16, 1991, Anna Gasser hails from Austria and excels in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air snowboarding. Her home base is Millstatt. Gasser has achieved the pinnacle of her sport, claiming the Olympic Big Air gold medal in both the 2018 and 2022 Games. Her Olympic journey began with the 2014 Sochi Games, where she impressively topped the qualification round, securing her spot directly in the finals. The year 2017 proved to be a banner year for Gasser, as she captured a gold medal in the Big Air competition at the Snowboard World Championships held in Spain. Her dominance extended to the X Games that same year, where she earned a gold medal in Slopestyle. She also secured a bronze medal in Big Air in Hafjell and a silver medal for Big Air in Aspen during the 2017 X Games circuit.
