Betty Faria — Biography

Betty Faria has been a consistent presence in the acting world since the 1960s, establishing herself as a prominent figure in Brazilian television drama. Her career is marked by roles in highly popular productions, particularly for the small screen and in films. She is most recognized for her portrayal of the central character in the 1989 telenovela Tieta. In 1987, she shared the Best Actress award at the Gramado Film Festival with Zezé Motta for their work in "Anjos do Arrabalde" (also known as "Angels of the Outskirts"). Faria has also been featured in Brazilian Playboy magazine in August 1978 and October 1984.
