Bonnie Tyler — Biography

Born Gaynor Sullivan, the Welsh vocalist who would become known as Bonnie Tyler made her mark on the music scene with a signature husky vocal style. Her ascent to fame began with the 1977 debut album, The World Starts Tonight, which featured the successful singles "Lost in France" and "More Than a Lover."
