Bridget Fonda — Biography

Born on January 27, 1964, Bridget Fonda established herself as a notable American performer. Her career features memorable turns in films such as The Godfather Part III, released in 1990, followed by the thrillers Single White Female and Singles, both in 1992. She went on to star in Point of No Return in 1993 and It Could Happen to You the following year. Fonda also appeared in Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown in 1997, the suspenseful A Simple Plan in 1998, and the action film Kiss of the Dragon in 2001. Hailing from a celebrated acting dynasty, she is the daughter of Peter Fonda, niece to Jane Fonda, and granddaughter to the legendary Henry Fonda. Her early work earned her recognition, including a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Mandy Rice-Davies in the 1989 picture Scandal. Fonda lent her voice to the character of Jenna in the 1995 animated movie Balto. Her television work also garnered accolades, with an Emmy nomination for the 1997 film In the Gloaming and another Golden Globe nomination for the 2001 television movie No Ordinary Baby.
