Über Cady Cantrell
Cady Cantrell, a beautiful and naturally voluptuous figure, was born on September 12, 1972, in Lanett, Alabama. She is recognized as an American nude model and television actress. At the age of 13, Cady relocated from her hometown to Norcross, Georgia. During her high school years in Norcross, she was a cheerleader and also worked at Hooters to support herself.
In April 1992, Cady was selected as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month and soon after, she appeared in several Playboy videos. Notably, she graced the cover of the video "Playmate Six-Pack," released on both VHS and laserdisc in 1992, which achieved the number one spot in sales within its category for an impressive eight weeks. Cady was also featured in "Playboy's Wet and Wild IV," where she performed in two segments while completely nude on a boat, displaying extensive full frontal and rear nudity.
Cady's journey with Playboy extended to 23 special editions available at newsstands, and she was only 19 when she debuted in the magazine. Many of the images from her Playmate pictorial showcased her enjoying nature without clothing, a setting in which she felt utterly at ease. She expressed her enjoyment, stating, "I love to be completely naked outside exposed to the elements. It feels so good and exciting at the same time with the risks of being caught." Cady thrived on the exhilaration of being watched, relishing the opportunity to excite men and knowing the thrill she provided to Playboy's vast readership.
At the pinnacle of her popularity, Cady's images reached an audience exceeding five million men, at a time when print media was the primary means for viewing such content. Her pubic hair style was moderate, distinguishing her from the popular landing strip style of the late '90s while being more groomed than the unkempt looks prevalent during the '70s and early '80s.
Cady was part of a prominent faction known as the "dream teens" in Playboy circles—Playmates who were teenagers when they posed nude in the early '90s. This group included fellow Playmates like Wendy Kaye, Julie Clark, and Anna Nicole Smith, among others. Though often labeled immature and likened to high schoolers, they were well-liked by male visitors to the Playboy Mansion despite sometimes clashing with older Playmates. The term "dream teens" was a nod to the famed "dream team" of NBA players who represented the U.S. in the 1992 Olympics.
Hugh Hefner, founder of Playboy, regarded Cady as a favorite and contemplated naming her Playmate of the Year for 1993. However, due to her age—being under the legal drinking age—he ultimately had to select Anna Nicole Smith for the title, despite the overwhelming support from readers who favored Cady in polls.
