Born on May 28, 1985, Carey Hannah Mulligan is a celebrated English actress. Her impressive career has garnered numerous honors, including a British Academy Film Award, and has also seen her recognized with nominations for two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and a Tony Award. In the 2025 New Year Honours, she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her significant contributions to drama.

Mulligan's journey in acting began on the stage in Kevin Elyot's play Forty Winks in 2004 at the Royal Court Theatre.
