Carla Boudreau — Biography

Carla Boudreau's story begins in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her upbringing unfolded across several B.C. locales: Port Coquitlam and then Langley, where she was raised alongside her two sisters and one brother. Following her academic pursuits, Carla embarked on a decade-long career as an international model, gracing print campaigns, catalogs, and commercials. At the age of twenty-six, weary of constant international travel, she pivoted towards acting. After enrolling in acting classes, her inaugural audition proved successful, securing her the role of "Isabella" in the television series Poltergeist: The Legacy in 1996. This initial success paved the way for further television appearances in shows such as The Outer Limits (1995), Millennium (1996), Stargate SG-1 (1997), and The Chris Isaak Show (2001), as well as film roles, including a part in Saving Silverman (2001) that same year. Eventually, her path led her to New York. On the Sci-Fi series Stargate SG-1, Carla made a significant guest appearance as the initial portrayal of "Oma Desala" in the 2000 episode "Maternal Instinct." This character would later evolve into a crucial figure in the series, with actress Mel Harris taking over the role.
