Vorderman's journey in the entertainment industry began with her debut on Countdown, where she worked alongside Richard Whiteley until his passing in 2005, followed by stints with Des Lynam and Des O'Connor before concluding her tenure on the show in 2008. In addition to Countdown, she expanded her presence by hosting other programs for various networks, including Better Homes and The Pride of Britain Awards on ITV, and has also guest-hosted popular shows like Have I Got News for You, The Sunday Night Project, and Lorraine. Her authorship includes titles focused on detox diets. Vorderman served as a presenter on ITV's Loose Women from 2011 to 2014.
