Chiai Fujikawa — Biography
Born on June 6, 1995, in Ibara, Okayama Prefecture, Chiai Fujikawa's journey into the spotlight began after she completed her secondary education. For a period, she was employed in a factory before a significant turning point in 2015 when she successfully auditioned to join the idol music collective, Maneki Kecak. As part of this group, Fujikawa contributed to the release of six singles, a live DVD, and a studio album that made its mark on the Japanese music charts. She ultimately departed from Maneki Kecak in September 2018, shifting her focus entirely to developing her individual musical endeavors. In 2018 alone, she unveiled three solo singles: "Katte ni Hitori de Dokidoki Sunna yo," "Yume Nankaja Meshi wa Kuenai to Dareka no Sei ni Shite," and "Kimi no Namae." The final track, "Kimi no Namae," was notably chosen to serve as the closing theme for the initial twelve episodes of the anime series, The Rising of the Shield Hero. Later, her fourth solo release, "Atashi ga Tonari ni Iru Uchi ni," was selected as the second outro theme for the very same anime.
