Christine Smith — Biography
Christine Smith, a resident of both San Dimas, California and Salt Lake City, Utah, graced 19 magazine covers and appeared in 19 photosets throughout her career before stepping away from modeling in 2011. She was selected as Playboy's featured Playmate in December 2005. Her path to becoming a Playmate began when she accompanied a friend to an audition. Photographer Stephen Wayda captured test shots that were forwarded to Hugh Hefner, and following a formal test shoot one week later, Smith earned her designation as Miss December. During October 2008, Smith participated in a comedic video project with the website Funny or Die titled Playmates Heat Up the Presidential Debate, which also included fellow Playboy models Jayde Nicole, Grace Kim, and Jo Garcia. The production utilized actual footage from a Presidential town hall debate held on October 7, 2008, which was then digitally manipulated to present the featured women posing questions to Senators Obama and McCain.
