Daniela Pestova — Biography

Daniela Pestova is a prominent Czech model who emerged into the fashion world after being discovered by Dominique Caffin of the Madison Modelling Agency at a theater in Prague at the age of 19. Following her success in a modeling contest, she relocated to Paris to officially join the agency. Born on October 14, 1970, in Teplice, Czechoslovakia (now part of the Czech Republic), Pestova has made her mark as a supermodel with her striking blonde hair and blue eyes. Standing at 180 cm (or 5'11") and weighing 61 kg (or 134 lbs), she maintains a slim physique with measurements of 34C-23-36.

In 1995, she married Tomasso Buti, the former CEO of Fashion Café, and the couple welcomed a son, Yannick Fausto, in 1996, before divorcing in 1998. Pestova then began a relationship with musician Pavol Habera, with whom she shares a daughter, Ella, born on July 21, 2002, and a son, Paul Henry, born in 2009. Fluent in Czech, French, Russian, English, and Italian, she possesses a diverse linguistic background.

Pestova is renowned for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions; she graced the covers in 1995, 2000, and 2006 and featured regularly in the publication for over ten years. She also walked the runway in three Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows between 1998 and 2001 and was honored as a Victoria's Secret Angel in 1998.
