Marcia Vieira de Arruda, known professionally by the stage names Delainie and Darlene Amaro, was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on February 9, 1975. Before venturing into the adult film industry, Arruda spent a considerable period of her youth working as an escort and exotic dancer. It was in her late twenties, after receiving numerous proposals, that she began to consider a career in pornography. In 2005, Darlene Amaro made her entry into the adult film world. To maintain a separation between her personal life and her professional persona, her inaugural film was shot outside of Brazil, an endeavor that did not prove successful. Subsequently, she has appeared in numerous hardcore films for prominent adult production companies globally, including Evil Angel and Brasileirinhas, among other well-regarded studios.
