Dayami Padron — Biography
Born in Havana, Cuba, on December 15th, 1988, Dayami Padron was just seventeen when her family embarked on a journey to the United States, seeking liberty and the promise of a new life. By eighteen, in 2008, she launched her modeling journey. That same year, she entered a prominent beauty pageant and reality show on Univision, unexpectedly securing the second-place position. In a remarkable turn of events, she also earned the title of "Reina" (Queen) on the popular Univision program "Republica Deportiva." Buoyed by the swift recognition and encouragement, Dayami committed herself fully to a career in modeling and acting. Over the subsequent year, she balanced her burgeoning career, working as a model, actress, and host across various Latin American television networks and shows, while simultaneously pursuing her education full-time and attending acting workshops. Dayami draws significant inspiration from the accomplished Hispanic and Latin actresses who have forged paths for those who follow, including luminaries like Rosy Perez, Maria Conchita Alonzo, Jennifer Lopez, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Eva Longoria, Michelle Rodriguez, Eva Mendez, Zoe Saldana, and Sofia Vergara, among others. Her aspiration is to one day join their ranks through her own dedicated efforts. In the interim, Dayami continues to make her mark in diverse facets of the modeling industry, appearing in magazines, radio, television programs, soap operas, commercials, and numerous music videos. She has also lent her image as a spokesperson for both local and internationally recognized brands, including Seduction Cosmetic Center and Steel Fuel Energy Drink.
