Elena Fanchini — Biography

Elena Fanchini, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 37, was a notable Italian competitor in alpine ski racing at the World Cup level. Her birthplace was Val Camonica, and her athletic career was primarily centered on the demanding disciplines of downhill and super-G. Elena was not the only one in her family to carve up the slopes; her younger sisters, Nadia Fanchini and Sabrina Fanchini, also represented Italy in the sport.
