Emilia Mernes — Biography

Emilia Mernes, a musical force, first captivated audiences as the lead singer for the Uruguayan group Rombai. Her tenure with the band began in November 2016 and concluded in 2018, after which she embarked on a successful solo career. Under her own name, she has unveiled a string of popular tracks, including "Recalienta," "Billion," and "No Soy Yo."

Her journey into the music industry was paved with early digital performances. Before her breakthrough with Rombai, Emilia honed her vocal talents by sharing song covers on social media platforms. Her artistic journey also included a stint in modeling; in 2012, she graced the campaigns for the clothing brand 47 Street, a testament to her victory in a modeling competition.

A notable detail of her time with Rombai is that she stepped into the vocalist role previously held by Camila Rajchman in 2016. Today, Emilia commands a significant online presence, boasting an impressive following of 6 million on Instagram.

Born and raised in the Entre Ríos province, Emilia pursued her university education in Rosario.
