Garcelle Beauvais — Biography

Garcelle Beauvais, an actress and former fashion model hailing from Haiti and America, has made a notable mark on television. Audiences might most readily recognize her as Valerie Heywood, the Assistant District Attorney featured in the ABC drama NYPD Blue. She also portrayed Francesca "Fancy" Monroe, a hotel employee, in the popular WB sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show. In her personal life, Garcelle is a mother to her son Oliver, who was born in 1991 and is from her prior marriage to Daniel Saunders. Garcelle Beauvais has been married to Mike Nilon since 2001. Together, they welcomed twin sons, Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas, on October 18, 2007.
