Genevieve Bujold — Biography
Born on July 1, 1942, Canadian actress Geneviève Bujold rose to prominence with her captivating performance as Anne Boleyn in the 1969 film *Anne of the Thousand Days*. This role earned her a Golden Globe for best actress and an Academy Award nomination. Bujold's personal life saw her wed Canadian director Paul Almond in 1967, welcoming their son Matthew in 1968. Their marriage concluded in divorce in 1974, following a separation period of about two years. Later, in 1980, Bujold welcomed a second son, Emmanuel, with Dennis Hastings, a carpenter from Reno. She met Hastings in 1977 when he was engaged in the construction of her Malibu residence. Their separation occurred in 2017, and Hastings passed away in 2020.
