Imaan Hammam — Biography

Imaan Hammam, born on October 5, 1996, is a Dutch fashion model who carries a heritage of both Moroccan and Egyptian ancestry. Her journey into the modeling world began in 2010 when she was noticed by a representative from CODE Management at Amsterdam's Central Station. Three years later, in 2013, her talent took her to Paris under the guidance of VIVA Model Management. There, she received the distinguished opportunity to exclusively open the Givenchy fashion show, a significant career milestone. Following this breakthrough, Imaan graced the pages of American, Italian, and French Vogue in successive publications. Anna Wintour has shown her support for Hammam, even acknowledging the model in her editor's letter during her inaugural appearance in the esteemed magazine. As of October 2025, Imaan maintains a substantial online presence with 1.8 million followers on her Instagram account. She is also the sister of Aicha Hammam.
