Ivana Trump — Biography

Ivana Marie Trump, born Ivana Zelníčková, was a prominent figure known for her roles as a businesswoman, socialite, and former model. She spent time in Canada during the 1970s before making her way to the United States. It was there she married Donald Trump in 1977. Within The Trump Organization, Ivana held significant leadership roles, serving as vice president of interior design, chief executive officer and president of the Trump's Castle casino resort, and overseeing management of the Plaza Hotel. She and Donald Trump were central figures in New York's social scene during the 1980s. Their separation and subsequent divorce, finalized in 1990, garnered considerable public attention. After her divorce, Ivana launched her own successful brands, offering clothing, fashion jewelry, and beauty items that found a market on platforms like QVC UK and the Home Shopping Network. From 1995 to 2010, she shared her insights through an advice column for Globe titled "Ask Ivana." Her published works include several books, encompassing fiction, self-help guides, and her autobiography, "Raising Trump." Ivana Trump had Czech roots and was the mother of Ivanka Trump.
